Our information is taken regarding speakers, judge's names, style of cause, spellings, right from the reporter's notes or the file you have provided for transcription. If there are no notes or the information we have been provided is inaccurate these type of errors can be generally resolved fairly quickly. Please note letters like B and V or M and N can sound the same in a recording. Words that have (ph) or (sp) behind them indicate the transcriber could not verify the spelling(s).
If your concern is regarding verbatim the audio will be reviewed by the transcriber who certified your transcript. If the audio is difficult to hear it may be reviewed at the request of the original transcriber by another transcriber with experience and the same certification qualifications.
